Data Integration and Sharing Workshop

Understanding and solving data integration and sharing problems

13 - 14 September 2005

Kings College, Cambridge, UK

This two-day workshop has been designed for companies wrestling with complex data integration and sharing problems particularly in long lifecycle ‘products’, such as in aerospace/defence, shipbuilding and process industries. The workshop is also of benefit to those companies that:

  1. Have major PLM implementation projects particularly those including data migration and or extensive integrations to legacy systems

  2. Have grown by acquisition and inherited a variety of incompatible applications or systems

  3. Are looking to move to a second or third generation CAx or data management solutions

  4. Have major  research and development projects

Day 1 will be in the form of tutorial sessions covering business issues, challenges, technologies, methodologies and best practice.

Day 2 will be in the form of interactive working sessions walking through objectives and priorities, defining a problem scenario and stepping through the solution
