A New Monthly Publication 
Focusing on Implementation of Asset Information Management Solutions and Related Data Migration Projects
 

PLM News: Project Manager Edition is a new monthly publication from Datamation Limited, aimed at helping Project Managers complete Implementation of Asset Information Management Solutions and Related Data Migration Projects on time and within budget. Starting from September 2006, it will:

  • Provide in depth understanding of the key data management and integration issues and how they impact implementation cost and time. 

  • Highlight potential pitfalls and misconceptions that often result in unplanned costs and delays.

  • Provide guidance on how to derive more value from investment in Asset Information Management Solutions.

  • Analysis and comment on emerging technologies and trends.

PLM News: Project Manager Edition will build on the foundation laid out in the report “The Datamation PLM Model: Product Lifecycle Management – How it Can Drive Your Business”,  which is provided on subscription. It will feature a series of authoritative reports, one each month (in PDF format), on important implementation related topics such as Data Integration, Data Quality, interoperability, creating, maintaining and extracting more value from an Asset Information Backbone, role of standards such as ISO 15926, etc. It will also include series of reports on the available technologies and solution offerings, such as software products and tools, packaged solutions, on-demand solutions, etc.

In addition, each issue of PLM News: Project Manager Edition will include a News Update part (also in PDF format), reporting on major developments and trends and how they impact on the user community.

Annual rate for individual subscription is £295 (plus VAT @ 17.5 for the UK), for 10 issues – monthly excluding January and July. 30% discount is available for all subscription up to 31st July 2006. Site and corporate subscriptions are also available on application.
