The Datamation PLM Model
provides a new perspective on how Interoperability, Data Integration
and Data Longevity problems can be tackled and solved. The key to
this is to have a value creation and value added approach rather than
the technology or feature and function driven approach prevalent today.
This value driven
approach is described in depth in a major new programme of workshops
from Datamation. These workshops aim to:

spotlight on the above mentioned discontinuities to identify how
they arise; why they arise; and how, the problems they create can,
if not promptly addressed, escalate to become much bigger problems.

Introduce a
new Business Engineering Approach that puts the emphasis on ‘value
creation’ and ‘value adding’ rather than on the ‘technology or
process driven’ approach of today.

the value, and therefore return on investment, be maximised.
